Since my debut single “The Apple Tree”, seven more songs have been recorded for the album High Tide. The last four numbers will be recorded later in 2026.
I hope to publish the album on vinyl towards the end of 2026. Any pre-orders will contribute to the artwork on the album cover, to possible artwork on the vinyl itself, and to the production and promotion necessary to make enough people hear it!
High Tide is the title of Marc Govan's debut album, available on vinyl from Spring 2026. A mix of folk, country, blues and rock, it contains stories about freedom, conflict and family. It is currently being recorded with analog instruments including violin, clarinet and trombone in addition to the regular guitars, bass and drums.
